We have received by post the guide by Luigi Veronelli on the day he has passed away. This year we were not in time to thank him for the professional approach that allowed him to judge our wines from the very first day they have been released, and for the trust and respect he has shown for Tenuta Rocca once again in this 2005 edition.

Subsequent to the brillian performance of last year, Tenuta Rocca Barolo has reaffirmed its style, modern but not artificous. The 2000 vintage has a solid structure and balance and is showing its intention compete with the best Barolo wines. Performing well is also the Vigna Sorì Ornati Nebbiolo d'Alba, tasty and persistent.
